Fourth meeting, fourth European country! After Germany, Italy, and Sweden, our consortium gathered in beautiful Aalborg to exchange on the latest progress and results of the MoWiLife project.
We kicked off with an inspiring introduction to Aalborg University and their impressive 10 kV module design presented by our Host Stig Munk Nielsen.

After this, we jumped straight into the MoWiLife topics. Everyone was eager to learn about the newest findings from all work packages, which were presented and discussed right away.
In the afternoon, we had the opportunity to visit the facilities of the chair:

– An impressive MV testbench demonstrating 10 kV modules in action
– A deep dive into the power module packaging laboratory, where chips become finished modules
A closer look at the MoWiLife testbench, where our modules are tested in parallel connection and influencing factors for current imbalances or oscillations are investigated

The evening gave room to continue our conversations in a more informal setting, allowing the discussions to broaden beyond the official agenda. Always with a strong technical spirit, but enriched by new perspectives and ideas, accompanied by a drink of choice.

The next day, the consortium reconvened with fresh energy to tackle the remaining topics, ensuring that everyone left not only with new insights and ideas but also with renewed motivation for the work ahead.

And yes, between wind turbines, perfect bike-lanes, and a touch of โ„Ž๐‘ฆ๐‘”๐‘”๐‘’, Denmark once again inspired us to drive European innovation forward. Thanks for the Hospitality!
